Chief Investigator
“As a rule,” said Holmes, “the more bizarre a thing is the less mysterious it proves to be. It is your commonplace, featureless crimes which are really puzzling, just as a commonplace face is the most difficult to identify.”
Greg Gribbins is the Chief Investigator and Owner of Paladin Investigations and Security. He opened the agency shortly after being approved for his State Private Investigator License (#0220) in 2004. Investigations, however, are nothing new for Gribbins, as he personally has over 30 years of Military Intelligence/Law Enforcement, Private Investigation, and Police experience.
21 years of experience as a Security Manager, Security Specialist, and Intelligence Senior Non Commissioned Officer in the US Air Force, tours of duty in 12 foreign countries, Vietnam-Era Veteran, and Persian Gulf War Veteran, round out Gribbins’ military experience. He followed that work with 13 years as a Police Officer (POPS Certified), Deputy Sheriff, Detective Sergeant, Federal Security Officer, and Private Investigator. As an armed Federal Security Officer, Gribbins provided personal protection for federal judges and assets assigned to the Social Security Administration. While serving in a Municipal Police Department, Gribbins conducted criminal investigations, fraud investigations, and managed a three-county drug task force. Gribbins was responsible for all citywide investigations, as well conducting intelligence analysis, the compilation of detailed case reports, and testifying in State and Federal court. Gribbins also interviewed witnesses and suspects, prepared and executed arrest and search warrants, and setup a criminal intelligence database and police case tracking system. During his tenure with the Police Force, Gribbins frequently operated a wide array of investigative equipment, camcorders, transmitters, receivers, and covert cameras.
Possessing expert knowledge of Kentucky Revised Statutes pertaining to criminal law, Gribbins has seven years of experience as a Private Investigator with licenses in Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois. To date, Gribbins has completed numerous statewide investigations, over 800 surveillance investigations, background investigations, SIU claims investigations and recorded statements, as well as Workers Compensation, and disability fraud investigations, including two in Canada. He has also competed a large number of child custody investigations, infidelity claims, and over 1,300 hours of Investigative/Law Enforcement training.
